Always

It’s time to take the load off your plate. It’s time to remember that there is more. Don’t settle. Don’t sustain what I never gave you.

Cry out for righteousness, and cry out for mercy! Steadfast are my ways. Remember, that these streets are paved with gold and there is more than enough to supply your needs. The righteous stand for truth while the broken long for mercy.

There’s a new way to get my attention. It’s not one of begging or standing firm in your way, but rather, it’s standing firm in Truth. My way to come. You are not a beggar on the side of the road. You are a citizen of the one whose cities are paved with gold. This is your highway, your runway to take off! Walk in my ways and I will lead you.

Stern is my hand of discipline yet my heart is leading you to repentance. Those who do not fight Me will succeed! But for those who turn their head, will only turn themselves further. They see my discipline as punishment, yet it is their own consequences of rebellion. Its not the truth they stand in., and yet, I remain firm.

I am the Truth and Light. No one can enter into the gates of heaven, except through Me. Daughter, Son, turn to righteousness. Turn and let My hand lead you to Truth. There is healing in the living waters, at the brooks of mercy. I’ve seen it countless times and see it again in your soul. As you drink My cup, I satisfy. And what you longed for is now turned away in disgust.

Let your idols be broken and let’s what true remain. I am always with you, your protector and shield.

Prayer: Jesus, thank you for walking with Me, through the fire and through the rain. Thank you for being my armor and shield. I rest in the promise that you are always there. Teach me where I have turned away from your wisdom and from your healing words over my life. I repent and turn into your loving rest. Show me the truth of who I am and all that you have for me. I trust you in the way that you are leading me, in the way of the everlasting. Amen.
